Richard Hinds first became interested in photography when he discovered his father’s 1970-era Konica as a teen. He switched to digital in 2006, and picked up his first DSLR camera in 2011 while living in Los Angeles. Rich created DIGITAL MUSINGS in 2012 in order to share his passion with others.

Rich’s digital art roots can be traced back to his high school days, as he was avidly involved in his school’s 3D modeling classes. At one point, he considered a career in animation. Today, the primary source material for his digital art comes from his photography, which he manipulates with a variety of programs & methods to achieve the desired result.

Rich currently lives in Bridgewater, Massachusetts with his wife.
